Email and contact form

If you write to us by e-mail, via our contact form or contact us in any other way, your inquiry including all personal data resulting from it (e.g. name, e-mail address, inquiry) will be stored and processed by us. Of course, we do not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR, if your request is related to the performance of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) lit. f GDPR), as we want to effectively process requests directed to us.

Communication between your terminal device and the server that provides this website is encrypted so that data you send via our contact form cannot be read by third parties. You can recognize an encrypted connection in most browsers by a lock symbol on the left in the address bar. Emails are usually unencrypted and should not be used for the transmission of confidential data.

Duration of storage and deletion of data

We generally delete personal data when there is no need for further storage. A requirement may exist in particular if the data is still needed to fulfill contractual services, to check, grant or defend claims. In the case of legal storage obligations, deletion is only considered after the expiry of the respective storage obligation. For emails and inquiries via the contact form, we check at least once a year, which data can be deleted.

Cookies

In the publicly accessible area of this website, currently do not use so-called cookies.

Maps

On our website we use OpenStreetMap maps. These are requested via a proxy. Personal data is not transmitted in the process.

External hosting

The web hoster we use, “ALL-INKL.COM – Neue Medien Münnich”, has several of its own data centers near Dresden (Germany). Personal data collected on this website is stored on the hoster’s servers. Our hoster will only process your data to the extent necessary to fulfill its service obligations and follow our instructions regarding this data. In order to ensure data protection-compliant processing, we have concluded an order processing agreement with our hoster.

Server log files and IP addresses

When you access a website, data is exchanged between your terminal device and the server that provides this website. The following data, which your browser sends to our server, is collected and stored in so-called server log files:

  • Your browser type and the version used
  • Your operating system
  • Your internet service provider
  • A portion of your IP address
  • The date and time of access
  • The website from which you arrived at our website
  • Websites that you access through our website

This data is usually deleted after 14 days. A combination of this data with other data sources is not made. This data helps us to analyze in case of a hacker attack or a defect and thus serves to secure and optimize our system, so that there is a legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR. In order to protect your privacy, we only store part of the IP address in the server log files and zero the last digits.

In addition, we use programs that are designed to detect and prevent attacks on our system. In such cases, the IP address of the alleged attacker is transmitted to us in full. In such cases, we decide on the duration and type of storage after a proportionality test. The legal basis here is also a legitimate interest according to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Your rights

You have the right at any time to free information about the personal data we have stored about you, its origin and recipient and the purpose of data processing, as well as a right to correct, block or delete this data. You can contact us at any time with regard to this and other questions.

Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority if you believe that we have violated your rights with regard to data protection. The jurisdiction depends, among other things, on the place in which the operator of a website has its registered office. In our case, this would be the Datenschutzbehörde der Republik Österreich (Data Protection Authority of the Republic of Austria).

If you live or work permanently in another state of the European Union, you can also complain to the data protection authority competent for your territory.

Changes

We revise this privacy policy when changes are made to this website or on other occasions that make this necessary. You will always find the current version on this website. If you have any questions about data protection, please contact us at any time at the address given above.
